Have you ever wanted your own pop-up restaurant?
Bistro Du Van is an ever popular part of the Festival of Thrift line-up and it’ll be back on site for the 2017. We have the campervans ready and waiting, now we need amateur chefs to design and cook the food.
We have six vans as part of Bistro Du Van, each is adopted by a local chef to be their dining space for 2-6 customers at at a time, from 11-4pm over the Festival weeks (Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September).
We need cooks and amateur chefs to design a menu and prepare it (in our pop-up kitchen), you’ll get support from Simon our Food Guru to help you pull together your menu ideas, and we’ll have volunteers on hand to book in and serve your diners. So how about it? Now’s your chance to cook for paying visitors.
