Tell Your Story for A Mile in My Shoes

Walk a Mile in My Shoes

Have you ever wanted people to really experience what it means to be you?

To walk a mile in your shoes?

Well you can.

We want to record and share the stories of people living in the Tees Valley. These stories will feature at the Festival of Thrift, as part of the A Mile in My Shoes project, then become part of the on-going tour as it travels around the world.

Do you have a story you’d like to share with the world? We are looking for 3 more people to recruit. You just need reply in the box below and then we’ll be back in touch. We’d love to hear local voices (it’s a voice recording only) and your personal stories. You might be a fisherman, an ex-steelworker, a shop assistant, anyone… your story might be funny, tragic or filled with hope. Listen to stories already recorded here.

Here’s your chance to do something remarkable. Let others wear your boots, waders, hi-tops or stillies for a day… and walk a mile in your shoes.
