The Redcar Beacon offers a chance to see Redcar seafront from a 360 degree perspective, the admission to the 80ft Beacon is free of charge.
The Beacon offers two-storey café with open terraces with superb views. There is also a sky lounge which is open for meetings and events. The eco features of the Beacon include energy efficient heat recovery system and solar reflective glazing. Enjoy a walk on the beach with a popular lemon top (local ice-cream) and finish off with a wonderful view of the area! The Beacon is located at Redcar sea front.

Roseberry topping is one of the most popular hilltops in Redcar and Cleveland area. It is a small walk up the hill which offer amazing views of the area. The walk is a great activity for families and it offers 360 degree view of the North York moors as well as the fascinating industrial sites of Middlesbrough. The hill is 370m high and the level of difficulty is medium.

SALTBURN CLIFF LIFT
Opening hours: 11:00 to 17:30
The lift which was opened in 1884 to replace old vertical hoist is the oldest of its type still operating. The 10-12 seater cars were rebuilt to the original Victorian design for the Saltburn 150 celebrations in 2011. This lift is situated at Saltburn sea front cliff and it can offer nice views from the top, and it’s a great fun for the youngsters!

The museum offer families an opportunity to discover why Captain Cook is the world’s most famous navigator and explorer through themed displayed galleries. The museum is located in the heart of Stewart Park which is also perfect spot for a family picnic or a walk.
