St Cuthbert’s is one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in the region. The church will be throwing open their doors and celebrating throughout the weekend, at 11am on Sunday morning there will be a special service where Margaret Sentamu will speak. The Festival service is themed around the work of Traidcraft, particularly on aspects such as creating sustainable lives for those who grow and make their products.
Look out for performances by Festival Choir Phoenix Voices on Saturday.
