Based in the heart of Kirkleatham village, St Cuthbert’s is one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in the region, certainly one with the best examples of Georgian architecture!

St Cuthbert’s will be throwing open their doors and celebrating the Festival of Thrift throughout the weekend. There’ll be drop in activities from Rosi Thornton  and the REJIG team who will  be making a giant quilt. Bring a piece of fabric to add or choose something from the Rejig buckets of colour – the rejig volunteers will assist stitchers, and visitors can ‘make one and take one’ blocks of any shape and size and start their own patchwork adventure when they go home. Hand and machine embroiderers will embellish blocks with stitching garden and growing motifs., it is very easy for anyone of any age to join in with….Come and help the FOT quilt grow!

Breathe in the stunning floral displays inside and outside the church and see the newly refurbished grade 1 listed mausoleum. Children will enjoy the special exploration quiz and there are delicious refreshments too.
