What’s your favourite Thrift memory?

Making new friends over Town is the Menu? Whittling a spoon? Debating the state of the fishing industry or being inspired by our thrifty fashion show?

Seeing the joy on your kids’ faces as they watch an amazing performance or learn something new?

Can you support us to continue giving these thrifty memories to everyone, for free, forever?

Can you help inspire others to make the small changes which you know will make a big difference to our planet?

We’ve never asked you before, but we need your help. With reduced funding, we need your support to keep delivering our critical message, that is now more urgent than ever.

As a community interest company, every penny we make goes back into our programme, which now extends beyond our fabulous festival weekend, to year round community engagement, workshops and activities from our base at Palace Hub in Redcar.

We believe that everyone should have their chance to watch, learn, and share ideas and skills around our sustainable future, making the ‘shift to thrift’ through our creative programme.

Please help by donating what you can.

What impact does our work have?

The Peoples Podium Project by Glimpse

The project created a platform to share hopes, dreams and allow the voices of the Redcar community to be heard.

Charlotte took part in this project and went on to be an ambassador for our Young Peoples Podium which was showcased at the 2021 festival

“It was nerve wracking but I was really proud that I took part and overcame my anxieties. My most significant change was being inspired by others. I now think more about peoples perspectives and what they hear when I speak…Being part of this project will influence how I speak and think from now on.”

What's next?

We will keep you regularly updated about what Thrift is up to, year round and how your generous donation is being used. You’ll also get priority booking on events and workshops and other perks to be announced!
