Daisy’s work is rooted in the ‘English Slipware’ tradition. Based in Saltburn by the sea inspires Daisy daily on her walks- the flora, fauna, colours and shapes which are reflected in many of the raw oxides and patterns she uses. Local iconic landmarks and themes also feature in her work which is either wheel thrown or press moulded using terracotta clay.
