John and Joy Rennie sing mainly traditional or traditional style folk songs, some made up of poetry set to music by Joy and a few that are all their own. John plays English concertina, Joy melodeons, recorders and digital piano. They sing lots of songs about the usual folkie subjects such as soldiers and milk maids, but their main love is songs of the sea.
