Commoners Choir have come a long way since their inception in 2015, often taking a collaborative approach to their craft. From early concerts commemorating historical food riots, and the Peterloo Massacre working with Red Saunders, to participating in the recent Fete of Britain collaborating with Brian Eno, they continue to push the boundaries of what a choir can be.
Commoners write their own songs rallying against greed, poverty, misogyny and racism but celebrating hope, kindness and community. Their three, four and occasionally five part harmonies have charmed, challenged and fired up audiences the length and breadth of Britain.
