Info:
Opening Tread Softly is the cult folk horror classic, The Wicker Man. The film explores the superstitious and the religious connections we can impose on our environment and each other, and what a failing crop and a misinformed society with a charismatic leader can unleash on the world. Witness it on the big screen (as nature intended) over 50 years since its initial release. Come along for a short welcome event and introduction to Tread Softly Film Festival with our co-director Dominic Somers. Presented with support from BFI, Cinema For All and Film Bank Media.
Access: Yarm Wellness Centre is wheelchair accessible, with groundfloor disabled toilets.
High Church Wynd is cobbled which can be a bit slippery when wet. If you have mobility issues, we do recommend they access the Centre from the West St end.
If you have any further questions regarding access support, please email Kirsty@festivalofthrift.co.uk
