Stokesley Show and Festival of Thrift Present Two Great Weekends in September

In previous years the Festival of Thrift and Stokesley Show dates have clashed meaning visitors have had to make the hard decision of picking one over another. This year the two events have come together to agree dates so they happen on consecutive weekends.

Stokesley Show is an intrinsic part of North Yorkshire, being one of the largest one day shows in the Country.  Every year some 20,000 visitors flock to the Show, with over 5000 entries throughout the showground, it is a time to compete, meet old friends and new and celebrate. This year is the 160th anniversary of the show and it will run Saturday 21st September 2019.

Whilst agriculture is at the heart of the Show, the organisers tell us  there is something for everyone, entertainment, shopping, demonstrations and competitions taking place throughout the show-ground.

The Festival of Thrift will take place the weekend before on the 14th and 15th September and will attract 35,000 visitors over the two days.  After packing up in Kirkleatham Redcar the festival team will be heading over to Stokesley Show  and we hope to see many of you there!
