Walk Wheel Cycle Trust Bike Storage and Repair
Festival attendees travelling by bike can park their bikes with Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (near the Walled Garden).
They can also give your bike a MOT Health Check whilst you enjoy the Festival.
Public Transport
The closest train station to the museum is Redcar Central. This station is serviced regularly by the Northern Rail service from Bishop Auckland to Saltburn. This is 3 miles from the festival site.
You can then travel by bus to Kirkleatham, Arriva service 63 or 28 to Kirkleatham Lane South.
Festival Car Park
If you are driving, please consider car sharing to reduce your carbon footprint in your journey to and from the Festival.
Please park in the free main Festival public car park on the Kirkleatham showgrounds to avoid congestion in surrounding residential areas.

Remember to be considerate to those living locally by not parking on residents’ driveways or obstructing roads. Parking enforcement will be in operation throughout the weekend.
Blue Badge Parking
Designated Festival blue badge parking is located next to the Kirkleatham Walled Garden. There will be signage on site to direct drivers, access is via Plantation Road.

From Redcar
The closest train station to the Festival site is Redcar Central. This station is serviced regularly by the Northern Rail service from Bishop Auckland to Saltburn. This is 3 miles from the Festival site.

From Guisborough
Arriva bus service 28 runs from Market Place to Kirkleatham Lane South, journey time approx. 16 mins.
From Middlesborough
Arriva bus service 63 runs from Middlesborough bus station to Kirkleatham Lane South. This is approximately 500m from the site. Total approx. journey time, 58 mins.
From Stockton-on-Tees
From Stockton station take the Northern train service towards Nunthorpe. Change at Marton and take the Arriva bus service 63 towards Redcar, alighting at Kirkleatham Lane South End. This is approximately 500m from the site. Total approx. journey time, 1 hour.
From Saltburn-By-The-Sea
From Saltburn take the train to Redcar Central (approx.12 mins).
