Age: Ages 10 and above due to sewing needles (children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)

Develop your sewing skills and come along to make a mini scrap fabric banner! Using second hand fabrics and inspiration from natural objects, you will first sketch your design before choosing your materials and cutting out your banner’s imagery. You will then pin this down to your background, choose your thread colour and learn how to hand sew. Kat is an expert and will guide you through the process slowly. You will then attach banner loops and use a dowel for your hanging before attaching string to be able to hang it up. You’ll then have a beautiful handmade banner to take home and decorate!
