Age Guidance: 4+ (under 12s accompanied by an adult)At SowNorthern’s Seed Swap, you are invited to exchange any surplus seeds you have, celebrate plant diversity, and share knowledge.In the Seed Saving Workshop, you will learn skills in seed saving, reducing reliance on commercial seed suppliers and building local seed resilience. Activities include harvesting seeds, winnowing (separating seeds from chaff), and storing seed for future use.And in the Seed Sowing for Later-Summer Crops Workshop, you will use recycled materials like grape trays and newspaper pots, to sow fast-growing crops such as pea shoots, broccoli, microgreens, as well as summer sowing crops such as dwarf french beans, carrots, beetroot, winter radishes and swedes, oriental greens, lettuce, and spring onions.
