Sustainable Floristry: Wreath Making
By The Flowerkind
Days:
Saturday & Sunday
Time:
Book on the day
Location:
Allotment Patch
My Kind of Meadow will teach participants about sustainable floristry. Flowers which have been grown locally and dried naturally in my studio will be used to make sustainable mini wreaths. A small simple wreath ring will be made with willow grown in the UK and soaked ready to be used. Participants will receive a selection of dried flowers to work with and twine will be provided to secure bunches to the wreath base. Ribbons will be provided in green, and orange made from recycled silk and dyed using plant dyes from plants such as nettles, and dock seeds. The wreaths are completely biodegradable.
