FOT Sat Final 2015 1 mb-48

We had some amazing volunteers for the Festival of Thrift 2016 at Kirkleatham, Redcar. Thank you!

We are now on the hunt for some fabulous volunteers for 2017.

We have lots of different roles to fill. Would you be able to be able to provide information to the general public, support artists, help build and take down stages or support our makers in the workshops? It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills and make new friends.

So, what did our 2016 volunteers get involved in? They provided information to our lovely visitors, school children and students made music and created signage for the site, we had models, hairdressers and make-up artists, singers, translators, artists, sound assistants, car parking attendants and everything in between!

This year we are looking for all of the above and more!

If you’d like to know more, drop us a line.

    • Hello Shelagh, thanks for your offer. Are you there just on Saturday or on Sunday too? I think we could do with an extra pair of hands at the People’s Encyclopaedia but that’s on Sunday. The volunteering briefing has taken place I think, but please can you drop by the information desk and see what you can do. Thanks so much for your offer. Karen
