Festival of Thrift has joined the National Portfolio of Organisations funded by Arts Council in 2023. We are now in the process of transitioning from an established (11 years), multi-artform, award-winning annual festival, 'The National Festival of Sustainable Living', to becoming a vibrant and multi-faceted arts & sustainability organisation with an expanding portfolio and year-round projects and events.
We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Director to play a key role in the leadership and management of Festival of Thrift in its next phase of development. The successful candidate will work in partnership with our joint Creative Directors, to lead the future strategic planning of the organisation and oversee its economic development and growth. They will have strong commercial and business acumen, the ability to create and build positive relationships and partnerships, and a trusted track record of delivering success in a leadership role. Our ideal candidate will be positive and solution-focused, structured and diligent, and able to lead, motivate and inspire.
We are also seeking an experienced finance officer to support us on a temporary freelance contact. We are looking for someone who can manage day to day finances of the organisation.
