I make domestic and decorative ware in a traditional toasted red body with handmade glazes, reflecting the landscapes of my beloved Teesside. I throw simple ergonomic forms to decorate with layers of texture and colour based on the juxtaposed industrial, coastal and moorland sceneries, and add found materials and objects into the surfaces to anchor the pieces in their environment.
