Deriving from traditional practices of the Luo people of Kenya, Nguni from South Africa, and the West African/Caribbean Moko Jumbie stilt walker, LAU proposes that clothing is psychologically important, that we derive meaning from dressing and wearing, that the clothing and ritual dressing itself can have significance beyond the mundane.
