Tees Valley Arts and the team at Redcar Palace will be bringing highlights from their current Thread Counts exhibition which celebrates those personal acts of creativity that disrupt the Fast Fashion industry and contribute to an environmentally and socially conscious way of making. Acclaimed photographer Casey Orr will be bringing her collaborative project with Middlesbrough based artist John James Perangie. Visitors to the Festival of Thrift will be able to have their portrait taken wearing one of John’s upcycled garments.
