Random Acts of Kindness

By The Institute of Thrifty Ideas

Days:

Saturday & Sunday

Time:

10:30, 12:30, 14:30

Location:

Walkabout
Duration: 30mins
Watch the Random Tandem bike as it travels through the festival site with its two colourful cyclists astride and inviting you to witness an ‘act’ chosen by random and performed just for you. You will be invited to watch a dance from the comfort of a mini auditorium or asked to hold onto the handlebars whilst joining them in a trio of sorts. In this series of interactive pop-up duets, they ask you to be kind to the planet, to be generous and to help them out if they get a puncture! Tongue in cheek, quirky and fun for all the family. Random Acts of Kindness was originally conceived in 2015 by Katherine Hollinson & Conner Quill of Them To Dance. It is a recycled and re-purposed show by Festival of Thrift & The Institute of Thrifty Ideas. The re-development of the work is supported by Tees Valley Combined Authority & Arts Council England.
