Develop your sewing skills and come along to make a scrap fabric banner! Using second hand fabrics and inspiration from natural objects, you will first sketch your design before choosing your materials and cutting out your banner’s imagery. You will then pin this down to your background, choose your thread colour and learn how to hand sew or if you want to try, you can use the sewing machine. Kat is an expert and will guide you through the process slowly. You will then attach banner loops and choose a stick for your hanging before attaching string to be able to hang it up. You’ll then have a beautiful handmade banner to take home and decorate your room! 10yrs+, Children to be accompanied by an adult
