Would you like to take part in a new outdoor dance performance The Answers at Festival of Thrift this year?
The Answers is about celebrating the power of collective joy, hope and imagination, in the face of the climate crisis.
We are looking for 20 volunteer participants from across the North East to work with artists Lizzie Klotz and Luca Rutherford, from ages 10-100 and of all abilities, genders and backgrounds.
What does your involvement mean:
Taking part in workshops before the festival throughout September 2022.
Taking part in a dress rehearsal in Kirkleatham on Friday 23rd September 2022.
Performing at Festival of Thrift on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September 2022.
Involvement in a public photography project running alongside the performances.
A contribution towards your travel.
KEY DATES
An evening introduction workshop will take place on Tuesday 23rd August, location to be confirmed
Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September 2022, 10am – 5pm at Dance City Sunderland
Saturday 17th September 2022m 10am – 5pm at Dance City Sunderland
Sunday 18th September 2022, 12.30pm – 5pm at Dance City Newcastle
Friday 23rd September 2022 6pm – 9pm at Festival of Thrift in Kirkleatham
